ASTM F963 is an American toy testing standard formulated by the National Bureau of Standards of the United States Department of Commerce. ASTM F963 is the standard for American toy testing. Toy products exported to the United States must meet this standard. The revised standard is divided into three parts, namely ASTMF963-1, ASTMF963-2, ASTMF963-3.
I. ASTM-F963-1: 2005 + A4-physical & mechanical Test
Includes 7,000 switch tests for non-sounding toys, sounding toys, earphones, toys, toy cabinets, ride-on toys, mouth-moving toys; the main parts of toys or the packaging of toys must be marked with the name and address of the manufacturer or distributor.
For toys sold in bulk, such as pebbles or marbles, only the container needs to be marked.
All these marks must be easy to read and understand, easy to see by customers, and durable under normal conditions of use.
Toys can be marked with a code to allow manufacturers to identify model changes.
With the exception of toys containing many loose parts, the code can be marked on the container.

ASTM F963 application process:
