TELEC certification includes Test Certification and Type Certification. The test certification is to verify each equipment unit. The certification is valid only for each verified equipment unit. The type certification refers to the verification of a sample of a batch of equipment that is also designed and manufactured. Valid, but if the design or manufacturing of the device changes, the device will need to be recertified. (Designated radio equipment conforms to the TELEC certification requirements of the Radio Law. Type approval is required for designated radio equipment (ie, technical and regulatory compliance certification). TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is the main registered certification body for Japan's radio equipment conformity certification.
Japan TELC certification application process:
1. Sign a certification contract with China Certification Union and pay 50% certification deposit
2. Provide test prototypes, application forms, and certification materials to China Kamlink
3. The China Securities Association started the test, issued a test report, and submitted an application to the RCB agency.
4. After the review is completed, a certificate is issued, the final payment is paid, and the certificate is sent by the China Certification Association, and the case is completed.
TELEC is a compulsory certification for wireless products in Japan, somewhat similar to domestic SRRC. It follows the Japanese radio law's compliance certification for telecommunication terminal equipment. There are two cases: For ordinary telephone equipment, JATE certification is required as required by the Telecommunications Business Law; for wireless terminal equipment, it is required to perform the telecommunications business law In addition to JATE certification, TELEC certification is required in accordance with radio law requirements.
