1.ST2002-2012 certification overview
The Japanese toy safety mark (ST MARK) is managed and issued by the Japan Toy Association, which stipulates the mechanical and physical properties, combustion safety properties and chemical safety properties of toys. S stands for safety and T stands for toys.
This standard is voluntary. Only products that conform to this standard are allowed to bear the ST mark on the product itself. Although it is not a mandatory standard, it has a very important impact on the acceptance of toys in the Japanese market.
The Japanese toy standard was jointly formulated by the Japanese toy industry and the Japanese government, scholars, and consumers in 1971. The 2001 revision refers to and incorporates the requirements of international standards such as ISO and the Japanese Food Sanitation Law.
The new toy safety standard ST 2016 contains a large number of mechanical and physical performance elements, which will take effect on April 1, 2016.
2.ST2002-2012 certification scope:
The Japanese toy standard applies to children's toys under 14 years of age, including requirements for children's toys under 18 months, requirements for children's toys under 3 years, and requirements for children's toys under 10 years.

3. ST2002-2012 certification testing project
